Rev. Leon Cooper age 73 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday October 25, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Vegie Cooper, wife Elsie Earlene Cooper, sister, Ruby Lewis, brothers R.L. and Willard Cooper.
Survivors include, Sons & daughter-in-law, Randy Starks, Chatsworth, Gary and Debbie Starks, Resaca; Daughters & sons-in-law, Betty Burnette, Chatsworth, Sherry and Carlton Walls, Chatsworth, Joan and Waymon Peden, Cohutta; Brothers & sister-in-law, Wayne Cooper, Cohutta, Glen Cooper, Cleveland, Alvin and Cindy Cooper, Cohutta; Sister & brother-in-law, Mary Ruth and Rick Long, Dalton. A number of grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Rev. Cooper will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Gene James officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Cohutta.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
