He was born April 6, 1895, in Macon, Mo., to James and Ida McKee. He was married to Minnie Lowder in Rigby, who died in 1946.
He was a veteran of World War I and operated restaurants for many years in Rigby, Preston, Montpelier and Pocatello. He retired in Montpelier in 1972
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. F. S. (Zelpha) Derricott, Green River, Wyo., and Mrs. T. R. (Dorothy) Sneddon, Montpelier, a brother, Fred McKee, Los Altos, Calif.; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at 11 a.m. in the Matthews Mortuary Chapel.
