Juli was born 25 April 1951, in Mt. Sterling, the daughter of Howard and Eva (Aimes) Holmes. She married Wilmer (Bill) Houck, Jr. on 20 December, 1970 in Sterling, IL.
She was a member of Coleta United Brethren Church.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Monica (Jeff) Link of Cedar Rapids, IA.; one son, Kris (Heather) Houck of Coleta; one sister Janie (Rex) McCormick of Kewanee; one brother, Howard (Betty) Holmes of Washington and three grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by one daughter, Maggie Lynn.
Funeral will be held at 2 PM Monday at Schilling Funeral Home, with Dalmus Meeks pastor of Harvest Time Bible Churc, Rock Falls, officiating. Burial at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation Sunday from 1-3 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
Juli fought a courageous battle with brain cancer. Her faith in God never waivered. Cancer went into remission for sometime, but then came back. God be with her. He has taken another loved one home.
