ARDMORE NEWS - A former Ardmore resident [James] Howard Scott, died last Friday in Decatur.
Funeral services for Mr.Scott were at Southside Baptist Church Sunday; burial was in Gatlin Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Scott; two sons, James B.and David Scott, all of Decatur; three sisters, Mrs. Crutcher Bailey, Decatur; Larene Scott, Ardmore, and Mrs. Johnnie Hodges, Florence; three brothers, Odie and Wilburn Scott, Ardmore and Edgar Scott, Florence.
He was the son of the late Ollie Scott (sic - Allie Scott) and Frankie Hargrove Scott. He ws employed at Ardmore Drug Store before moving to Decatur several years ago.
