Robert Bond, father of William Bond, clerk of the district court, died the morning of Monday, 15 October. He was quite an old gentleman and had lived in this county for 16 years since 1878. The funeral services were held in the M.E. Church at 10 o’clock under the auspices of the G.A.R. Rev. Cargo officiating and his remains were buried here in the Indianola Cemetery… dated Friday, 19 October 1894.
