PETER MORSE, son of Lieutenant Anthony (Anthony) and Mary (Barnard) Morse, was born November 14, 1674. He went to Woodstock with his mother and married there, December 28, 1698, Priscilla, daughter of John Carpenter of Dedham, Mass., as is shown by a quit claim deed she gave October, 1735, in which she yielded her rights in the estate of her late deceased father... Peter Morse died during an epidemic (of) smallpox, November 2, 1722.
