Floyd August Feith of Fairbury, NE died at his home here after more than five years of illness, on June 28, 166 at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 4 days.

One of eight children of William and Louise Frede Feith, the was born August 24, 1882 at Warrenton, Missouri. When he was seven years of age the family moved from Missouri and settled on a farm near the Village of Reynolds. In 1893 they moved to Fairbury.

On Feb. 1905, he was married to Antonia Traeger in Fairbury and the couple established their home on a farm northwest of Fairbury. Eleven years after they moved to a small acreage and operated the recreation establishment known as Sandy Nook. Forty years were spent in the work and in the intensive gardening and during this time they formed many friends throughout this part of the State. In April 1955, they moved to Fairbury.

Surviving are his wife, Antonia; one brother, Wesley of Fairbury and by 18 nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Frank, John and Sam and by three sisters, Lizzie Rinard, Millie Rhodes and Carrie Ridder.

Funeral Services were Thursday afternoon in the Traum Chapel with the Rev. Millard J. Gordenier of the Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Frank was organist. Pallbearers were Bixby McClure, Arthur Schoenrock, William Vickrey, Harry Zweifer, Herman Michels and Howard Wehrli. Interment was in the Fairbury Cemetery.
