Found in The State 15 October 1964: Otto Gary Donny Sr., 82, of 2320 Devine St., died Wednesday at a local nursing home after several months illness. Born in Donalds, he had spent most of this life in Columbia. He was with the Seaboard Air Line Railroad for more than 50 years and was assistant general freight agent, having been retired for 15 years. He was a member of Shandon Methodist Church, charter member of Columbia Lions Club, member of the Traffic Club, the South Carolina and Columbia chambers of commerce, a past member of the official board of Shandon Methodist Church and a member of the Gideons' Society. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Nash Donny; two daughters, Mrs. James O. Bennett and Mrs. George Lee Lesesne of Manning; two sons, Otto G. Donny Jr. of Columbia and William Donny of Lockhaven, Pa., and one sister, Miss Margaret Anne Donny of Columbia.
