Mrs. Hazel F. Daniels

     COUNCIL — Services for ;Mrs. Hazel Florence Daniels, 68, a resident of Council for the past 24 days, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Council Congregational Church with Branch President Reed Henderson of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiating. Interment will be at the IOOF cemetery at Council.

Mrs. Daniels died Friday at Council at the home of a daughter. She was born May 16, 1898 at Springville, Utah, a daughter of Fred and Lucetta Hatfield. She moved to Rigby, Idaho, as a small child and grew up in Swan Valley, Idaho. She was married to Lewis Daniels, Sept. 8, 1916 at Blackfoot.

     Following their marriage, the couple lived in Swan Valley until 1938. The couple lived in various places in Idaho and Nevada, moving to Council May 8, 1943 where they lived until 1960 when they moved to Madras, Ore. and back to Council one year ago.

     She was a member of the LDS Church and the Relief Society. Survivors include her husband, Council; two sons, William E. and Charles Henry, both of Council; six daughters, Mrs. Hazel F. Liggett, Boise; Mrs. Norma Sanders, Hamer; Mrs. Jennie Campbell, Lincoln Park, Mich.; Mrs. Stella Muller, Mrs. Rose Mary Kilburn, both of Council and Lucetta June Daniels, Boise; four sisters, Arletta Adams, Idaho Falls; Erma Lake, Irwin; Ramona Hill, Irwin; Emma Parks, Ririe; two brothers, Howard Hatfield, Irwin; Roy Hatfield, Idaho Falls; 38 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James.
