Mrs. Alberta Gillum, 77, mother of Mrs. John Blackburn, died Wednesday morning, April 30, in her home in the Cornersville community after suffering a heart attack.
Services were conducted Saturday afternoon, May 3, at 2 o'clock in the London Funeral Home chapel in Lewisburg. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Cornersville.
A native of Marshall County, Mrs. Gillum was born April 21, 1892. She was a member of the Yell Church of Christ.
Survivors in addition to her daughter, include three other daughters, Mrs. Collins Mittalton and Mrs. Elaine Tate, both of Lewisburg; and Mrs. J. R. Cliff, Huntsville, Ala; three sons, William Gillum, Cornersville, Garland Gillum and Euel Gillum, both of Lewisburg; one sister; one brother; nineteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
