FUNERAL SERVICE SET FOR RETIRED FARMER; SURVIVORS LISTED

Frank Julka, 88, Johnsburg died at his home at 11:45 p.m. Friday.

Born Jan. 1, 1879, in Marytown, the son of Frank and Mary Malley Julka, he married Amelia Stephany on Sept. 8, 1914.

He was a retired farmer and a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Johnsburg, and also a member of the church’s Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his widow; three sons, Edgar and Wilmer, both of Johnsburg and Bernard of St. Peter; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Roehrig, of Marytown, Mrs. F. A. Birkhauser of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Ervin Pauly of Peebles; four sisters (living - omitted from obit); 29 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A brother and four sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. from Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and 11 a.m. from St. John’s Church, Johnsburg. Rev. Robert Bier officiating.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral services for Frank Julka, who died Friday, were held at 10:30 a.m. today from the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and 11 a.m. from St. John’s Church, Johnsburg, Rev. Robert Bier officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Arlyn Julka, James Julka, Kenneth Julka, Robert Birkhauser, Francis Bertram and Thomas Flasch.
