Funeral services for Mrs. Marguerite Bickford Sessums, 72 of 140 Royal Oaks, were held July 27 from the chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce A. Gilson and Rev. Paul Owens officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories. She died July 25 at her residence. A resident of Kerrville since 1961, she was born Feb. 1,1910 in Lufkin and was a member of the Church of God. She was a school teacher at Tivy Jr. High School and also taught in Houston for many years.
Survivors include tow stepdaughters, Mrs. Carl L Hutchings and Mrs. Francis M DuBose of Mill Valley, CA, two stepsons, Dr. James H Sessums of Bishop, CA and Luis Carreon of Kerrville; one sister Mary Webster of Conroe; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
