Mrs. Martya Evelyn Simpson, widow of the late William Stimpson and mother of Herbert E. Stimpson of the American Automobile Company, died at her home in American Lake at the age of 74 years. She had been a resident of Tacoma for five years.

She is the daughter of Jeremiah Ward and Emma J. (Loomis) Ward.

The funeral will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Buckley-King Chapel, with Rev. W. Paul Reagor officiating. Burial Mountain View Cemetery.
