LINCOLN - Bobby Joe Matson, 55, of Lincoln, IL., passed away at Memorial Medical Center,in Springfield,

on October 20, 2013.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Keys Cemetery, in rural Logan County.

Holland Barry and Bennett Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bobby was born July 18, 1958, in Lincoln, IL., the son of Robert "Bob" Matson and Ruth Shepherd. His wife, Mary (Cox) preceded him in death.

He was employed by Saint-Gobain Containers, in Lincoln for more than twenty years. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Ruth (Shepherd) Matson; two daughters, Fonda (Josh) Dalton and Alyssa (Christian) Javrin and a stepson, Joey Anderson. Five grandchildren, special nephews, Kameron and Karson Bonaparte and Isaih Bryant, special niece, Brianna Bryant; a sister, Regina (Don) Bryant and brother, Mitchell Matson also survive.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and brother, Reggie Matson.

Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
