Anthony Collamer, Jr., eldest son of Anthony and Susanna (Oakman) Collamer, b. July 4, 1725 at Situate, Mass; m. Marcy Barker, daughter of Barnabas and Hanna (Turner) Barker, on Dec 13, 1757 at Scituate. They resided at Collamore Place, Scituate, MA, until the year 1779, when it was sold to Nathaniel Waterman, Jr. and they then removed to Malta, Saratoga County, N.Y., and engaged in farming. Before the Revolution, Anthony Collamer, Jr., was an active ship-builder on the banks of the North River in Situate.
