Mrs. Cain Roberts
Mrs. Emma Kring Roberts, 84, 416 Madison Street and widow of Cain Roberts, died at 4:05 a.m. today at King's Daughters Hospital after a two year illness. She had been residing at Green's Nursing Home.
Born in Franklin County, July 24, 1881, she was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Rebecca class, Hiram Lodge 93, Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of America and the Franklin County American War Mothers.
Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Henry Gatewood, Louisville and Mrs. Ralph Penn; one son Bowen H. Roberts, Frankfort, Kentucky; three sisters, Mrs. Ada McDonald, Mrs. John Armstrong and Mrs. Bertha Kaltenbrum, all of Frankfort, Kentucky; one brother, Eugene Kring, Frankfort, Kentucky; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted in Rogers Chapel at
2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Herman Bowers and Dr. Fred T. Moffatt.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts' body is at Rogers Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
