Services for Ronald H. Studer, 40, Toledo, who died Wednesday, June 3, 1990, at his home in a shooting incident were held at 11:00 o'clock Monday morning in Christ the King Catholic Church, Des Moines. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines.

A scripture service was held at 6:00 o'clock Sunday evening from the Southtown Funeral Home Chapel. Celebrants of the Mass were Fr. Dennis Trausch and Fr. Leonard Kenkel.

Born in Fort Dodge September 4, 1949, Ronald Howard Studer was the son of Howard and Viola Studer. He lived in Des Moines from 1957 until moving to Mitchelville in 1971. While a resident of Des Moines, he worked as a carpenter for Neumann Brothers. He later became a custodian for South Tama Middle School after moving to Toledo five years ago. He also served on the Toledo Fire Department.

He married Marsha Lynn Downs on May 19, 1984.
