BAGLEY
Forrest Glenn Bagley, 83, of 775 Maplewood Drive, died at 9:55 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2003, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
He was born March 30, 1919, in Pleasant Township, Van Wert County, the son of the late John S. and Josephine (Harberger) Bagley. On September 18, 1940, he married O. Virginia Kanney, who survives in Van Wert.
Mr. Bagley retired from Weatherhead Corp. in Fort Wayne, Ind., on June 1, 1981, and was formerly a part owner of Bagley Builders Supply. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Karen S. (Kenny) McClain of Ohio City and Connie J. (Ronald) Walters of Van Wert; a sister, Ada L. Stemen of Van Wert; three grandchildren, Ty McClain, Lisa Agler and Lori Agler, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen G. Bagley; six brothers, Fenton L., John V., Ernest V., Gern A., Clyde S. and Floyd E. Bagley, and one sister, Edith Childres.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Monday and a half-hour prior to services on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
