ESTHERVILLE – Funeral services for Fred J. Beckman, 89, were held Monday morning at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Estherville, with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Danbury. He died Saturday at the Rosewood Manor.
Mr. Beckman was born August 20, 1886 at Anthon to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beckman. He lived several years in the Sioux City and Danbury areas before moving to the Graettinger area where he was employed as a farm laborer and a tiler.
Survivors include four nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one nephew.
