She was born Oct. 27, 1915, in Woodstock, the daughter of Herman and Minnie (Schmidt) Langhoff.
She was a school bus driver for Woodstock District 200 until her retirement and was a member of Brean Grace Church in Genoa City, Wis.
Surviving are her husband, Elmer; two sons, Larry Aavang and Lynn (Louise) Aavang; a daughter, June Kortemeier; a sister, Margaret (Pete) Reede; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at McHenry County Memorial Park. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept 22, in the chapel, the Rev. Steve Ross officiating.
Memorials in her name may be made to Brean Grace Church.
