"Ronald J. Hunnell, 57, Kansas City North, passed away May 10, 2005, at North Kansas City Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, May 14, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m., Saturday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association. Ronald was born Aug. 14, 1947, in Kansas City to Clifford and Bessie Hunnell. He worked for Fleming Foods for 30 years and was a member of Teamsters Local #955. Ronald formerly owned Fat Boys Lounge, North Kansas City. He loved to golf and was a Christian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill. Survivors include his wife, Sheila, of the home; two children, Steven Hunnell, Olympia, WA, and Barbara Owens and husband, Dan, St. Louis, MO; three step-sons, Calvin Todd, Shawnee, KS, Dan Todd, San Diego, CA, and Sam Todd, DeSoto, KS; and nine grandchildren."
