Sharron Isom Parker, 76, was born January 8, 1937, in Hurricane, Utah, to George Washington and Blanche Angell Isom and passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at her home in Hurricane. Sharron was a wonderful mother and provider as well as a caring and generous person who touched the lives of many people. She worked several jobs throughout her life, but one of the most rewarding ones was the eighteen years she spent on both the 3rd & 4th floors as a Nurse's Aide at Dixie Regional Medical Center. She was a long-time resident of Hurricane and one of her favorite things was meeting for lunch monthly with her Class of 55 girlfriends: Marietta, Marilyn, Marlane, Rowen, Corinne, Karen, Lynette and Chyrrel.

Sharron was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings throughout her life. She loved to read the scriptures and kept a list of the starting & ending dates that she had read each of the standard works. She also instilled the love of the scriptures in her children and grandchildren. Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchild something "fierce". She made many sacrifices for all of them over the years. Sharron had many health challenges in the later part of her life, but she always met and endured them with courage and faith. She never deviated from her love of the Savior and the teachings of the gospel. She loved Genealogy and her home is full of worksheets and genealogical information that she's been working on for years, and she loved attending and serving in the Temple.

Surviving family include her dear sister Corean Barrick Gubler and her four children Dell Parker, Shannon (Edmund) LeBaron, Jacson (Corinna) Parker, and Derrick (Julie) Parker. She has 16 wonderful grandchildren and 1 great grandchild all who loved their Memaw. Sharron was preceded in death by her Parents, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 7th, at 11am in the North LDS Chapel 155 East 1050 North, Hurricane. Viewings will be held Sunday, October 6th at the North LDS Chapel from 6pm to 8pm and prior to services on Monday from 9:30am to 10:30am. Interment will be at the Hurricane City Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, St. George (435) 673-2454. Family and friends are invited to sign her guest book at www.spilsburymortuary.com
