Faye Settles
Rushville - Faye Settles, 83, of Rushville died Friday at Snyder's Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home.
Survivors: two sisters, Fairy Leezer of Canton and Freida Trone of Rushhville, and a brother, Paul Settles of Canton.
Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Wood-Roby Funeral Chapel, Rushville. Burial: Astoria Cemetery, Astoria.
Rushville - Fay Settles, 83, of Rushville died at 3 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 1995, at Snyder's Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 7, 1912, in Schuyler County to Earl and Alma Parker Settles, she married Orval Davis on Dec. 24, 1933, in Schuyler County.
Surviving are two sisters, Fairy Leezer of Canton and Freida Trone of Rushville; and one brother, Paul Settles of Canton. One daughter, Marian Joan Davis, and one son, Lester Herbert Davis, preceded her in death.
She worked in the home health-care business. She was a member of Rushville Assembly of God Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wood-Roby Funeral Chapel in Rushville. The Rev. Marvin Chockley will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the chapel. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
