Mrs. Rephann was born September 15, 1941 in Washington, D.C., to the late Robert M. Smith and Evelyn Trunnell Smith. She retired as a High School English Teacher and also served as a teacher and program coordinator for Weight Watchers. She was a devoted member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church, where she served as a vestry member and as chairperson of the Hospitality Committee. She was an "awesome mom" who was very devoted to God and her family.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Jamie Rephann; a daughter, Anne Moore; and four grandchildren.
A Celebration of Barbara's Life will be scheduled for early August and held at Holy Cross Episcopal Church.
