FROGGE — Alvin A. Frogge, 92, Alexandria, Va., died early today at the Menorah hospital, where he had been a patient two weeks. He had been visiting at the home of a daughter, Mrs. J. O. Borders, 3017 West Forty-seventh terrace, Westwood, when he became ill. Mr. Frogge was born in Knox [sic] County, Missouri and had lived in Oakley, Kas., most of his life. He had lived in Branson, Mo., and Springfield, Mo., in later years, and had lived in Alexandria since 1952. He had been a grain dealer most of his life. He and his wife, Mrs. Nancy A. Frogge celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last March. He also leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Harry Stock, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Albert Sump, Alexandria; four sons, Walter A. Frogge, 4140 Forest; Fred S. Frogge, Monroe, Ore.; Ted R. Frogge, Elwood, Neb., and Ferd R. Frogge, Oakley, Kas.; a brother, George Frogge, Numa, Ia.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Ted R. Frogge was in Kansas City and Missouri from last Wednesday evening until Sunday night because of the death of his father.
Alvin A. Frogge died February 6, 1957 at Minorah hospital, Kansas City. He had been visiting a daughter in Kansas City when he became ill and was in the hospital about three weeks. He was passed 92 years of age.
Most of his life had been spent at Oakley, Kansas, moving to Alexandria, Va., in 1952. Surviving are his wife Nancy A., seven children, ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Burial was at Greensburg, Missouri.
He visited a number of times in Elwood, usually during the hunting season and was still hunting and fishing when he was in his late eighties. A number of Elwood people were acquainted with him.
