Ray Doby, age 66, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away October 15, 2013. Mr. Doby was cremated and a memorial graveside service was held in Crestlawn Cemetery with Dr. Randy Cheek officiating. Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Doby was employed by Lockheed as an Aircraft inspector. A member of lodge 709 Lockheed Assc. of Machinist and aerospace workers. A member of the American Legion Post 160 and a member of Olive Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn Wilhoit Doby; son John (Kelli) Doby; daughter Melissa (Stephen) Williams; six grandchildren; brother Larry Doby; and sister Janice Lacy.
