Former Blair Woman Passes

Mrs. Perry Selden passed away last Sunday at 9:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Williams, of La Habra, California, at the age of ninety-one years.

Mrs. Selden was an early settler of this county settling with her husband in the New Endland neighborhood of Herman where they lived for a number of years finally moving to Blair. In the late eighties the husband purchased The Pilot of the late L.F. Hilton and continued as its editor until his death.

After his death, L. Williams, now deceased, a son-in-law, took over the management of the paper and Mrs. Selden made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Williams. The family left Blair in 1923 and took up their residence in California where Mrs. Selden died.

The funeral services were held at the home in California and the body is being brought to Blair where interment will be made by the side of her husband in the Blair cemetery. Short funeral services will be held at the grave at 10 o'clock a.m. Friday.
