Born March 13, 1916, in Louisville, Ill., she was the daughter of Ray D. and Ollie E. Randall Hetrick. She married Bernard Bunfill on April 10, 1932, in Jerseyville. He died March 21, 1972.
A longtime member of Central Baptist Church where she was active with the Loyal Workers Sunday School Class, Iris had been a member of the Quincy District Association of the Blind for over 40 years. She enjoyed reading and traveling.
Iris helped her husband farm for many years and was employed as a clerk at Walgreens for 23 years until her retirement.
Survivors include two sons, Brian Bunfill (Cheryl) and Lanny Bunfill (Diana); 10 grandchildren, Troy Bunfill (Dawn), Heather Gray (Steven), Todd Howard, Christine Branson (Dean), Timothy Bunfill, Eric Bunfill (Kim), Michael Bunfill (Lorie), Melanie Lilly, Lindy McRill and Randy McRill (Saori); 23 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Bernard, Mrs. Bunfill was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Patsy Williams.
SERVICES: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ivan Grueter conducting. Burial will be in Cooperstown Cemetery, Cooperstown.
VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
MEMORIALS: Central Baptist Church or Good Samaritan Home.
