Denise Rene (McCaslin) Ahles passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013. She was born to Nancy Katsel and the late Frank McCaslin, in Port Angeles WA, on April 1st, 1961.
Denise is survived by husband Greg Ahles, sons Brian and Steve (Mitzi) Ahles, mother Nancy Katsel, twin brother Dennis (Cindy) McCaslin and sisters Cathie Evans, Janeen (Jerry) Heglin and Shireen (Skip) Hutchison, daughter-in-law Kim Benner and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews that were so dear to Denise.
Denise celebrated life every day; her door was always open to friends and family. She hosted grand holiday celebrations, karaoke parties (her lovely voice was always the highlight), impromptu Ping-Pong tournaments, and vacations in Mexico, Mariner games and all water sports.
Her greatest pleasure was time spent baking, playing games and watching "The Sound of Music" with grandchildren, Camren, Kody, Kyra and Morgan.
Denise will be forever missed by her family and the great friends that she gathered into her family. Once you were in Denise's heart she kept you there forever. What a gift to have known her.
Special thanks to niece Kerri (Eric) Feay and family, daughters-in-law Mitzi and Kim and dear friend Dana Snider, for their untiring support during this difficult time.
A celebration of life will be held on November 2nd at the Stanwood American Legion Hall from 1 pm until 5 pm.
