City Native Dies At 68
Miss Sarah Davis, 68, Logansport native,
died at 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Country Side
Nursing Home, LaPorte. Born Jan. 6, 1910 in
Logansport, she was the daughter of Fred and
Minerva Mertz Davis. She was a member of the
Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are two sisters, Josephine Kemplar
and Alice Marie Yetter, both of Downers Grove,
Ill. Two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday
at the Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. James
Kempfer officating. Burial will be in the Davis
Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
