Nelson Leaverton age 82 of Hillsboro died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born July 9, 1920 the son of the late Burch and Eva Steele Leaverton. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a toolmaker for General Motors in Dayton retiring in 1980. He is survived by his wife, Clarice A. (Hover) Leaverton, two sons, David (Peggy) Leaverton of Dayton and Fredrick Leaverton of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Leaverton of Ft. Thomas, KY. and David Lee Leaverton of Dayton. In addition to his parents a brother John David Leaverton preceded him in death. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003 at the Bellbrook Cemetery in Bellbrook Ohio. Brother Wiley B. Perkins will officiate. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro
