James Phipps had moved to Iowa and where he remained the rest of his life.
Joseph Phipps's children are on the Grundy Co. MO census in 1860, I have been unable to trace Joseph or his wife after 1860.
Catherine and her daughters Elizabeth, Jane and Jane's husband Conrad Show move to Appanoose Co. Iowa by 1860 and by 1862 all move to Jersey Co IL. with her other children Thomas K. Phipps and John M. Phipps.
John M. Phipps served with the 122 IL. infantry,
William A. Phipps served with the 6th MO cav.
About 1877 and John M. Phipps, leaves Ill and William A. Phipps leaves Mercer Co. MO and both move to Van Zandt Co. Tx where William dies in 1880.
John M. removes to Tulare Co. CA in 1906 dying there in 1916.
All had large families

No record (verbal history says he disappeared in Tennessee) and have a letter of Guardianship for an Elizabeth Phipps the daughter of a James PHIPPS deceased by Aug 6 1855 naming James DYKES, the father in law of William Alva PHIPPS as guardian in Mercer Co MO.

The oldest daughter, Ellender married Micajah Fortner in Grayson co VA in 1835.
In 1840, Catherine is on the Hawkins TN census with the 7 youngest children under the name Katherine Phipps.
By 1850 Catherine had moved to Mercer Co MO along with her sons Joseph, William Alva Phipps, and her daughters Jane and Elisabeth, My 2grgrandfather Thomas Kinsman Phipps and his brother John McClellmon Phipps had moved to Jersey Co IL.
James Phipps had moved to Iowa and where he remained the rest of his life.
Joseph Phipps's children are on the Grundy Co. MO census in 1860, I have been unable to trace Joseph or his wife after 1860.
Catherine and her daughters Elizabeth, Jane and Jane's husband Conrad Show move to Appanoose Co. Iowa by 1860 and by 1862 all move to Jersey Co IL. with her other children Thomas K. Phipps and John M. Phipps.
John M. Phipps served with the 122 IL. infantry,
William A. Phipps served with the 6th MO cav.
About 1877 and John M. Phipps, leaves Ill and William A. Phipps leaves Mercer Co. MO and both move to Van Zandt Co. Tx where William dies in 1880.
John M. removes to Tulare Co. CA in 1906 dying there in 1916.
All had large families
Their daughter Nancy is the only one whom I have not found.
