James William Hayes, age 73, of Halls passed away October 14, 2013 at UT Medical Center after a long courageous battle with cancer. Veteran of the US Army and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local Union #917. Preceded in death by parents Barton Clifford Hayes & Meldia Mae Hayes; loving and devoted wife of 32 years Dorothy Sharp Hayes.
