The daughter of the late George and Anna (Eibisch) Legel, she was born Feb. 18, 1922.
She is survived by a son, Leonard (Carole) Inger; three grandchildren, Michael, Nancy (Inger) Sherwood and Leslie; two great-grandchildren, Angel Marie and Michael Vincent; three brothers, Delbert, Raymond and Harold Legel; and two sisters, Beatrice McDonald and Ruby Behrens.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Charles Inger, a brother, Robert Legel and a sister, Ruth Rehberg.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, June 26, at the Querhammer Funeral Home in Crystal Lake. The Rev. Frank Szewczyk Jr. of the New Beginning Church in Cary will officiate.
Burial will is private.
Memorials in her name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
