Sister Mary Hildegarde, 78, the former Anna T. Koelle, of this city, a 61-year member of the Religious Sisters of Mercy, died Wednesday (March 13, 1963) in the Mount Mercy Motherhouse in Buffalo. She was the sister of Mrs. Henry Asma, Mrs. James Hannon and Mrs. Howard Balliett, all of this city. Sister Mary entered the congregation in 1902 and taught in parochial schools until 1957 when illness forced her retirement. A solemn Requiem Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Mount Mercy Motherhouse Chapel. Burial will be in Holy Cross, in Lackawanna.
