Mrs. Martha Estelle Trott Beasley, age 85, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 12, 2013, 2:00 P.M. at Freedom Way Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Rudolph Outlaw, Rev. Steve Petty and Rev. Tony Trott officiated. Burial followed in Dogwood Cemetery, Maysville, NC. Visitation was from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the church just one hour prior to the funeral.

Born March 14, 1928 near Deep Run in Lenoir County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Zeb and Ader Brown. Her family moved to Swansboro, NC when she was a child. Martha was also predeceased by a great granddaughter, Katelynn Alexis Long, one brother, John "Jack" Brown and both her husbands.

On August 14, 1948 Martha was married to John Trott until his death in 1985. On January 10, 1992 she was married to Robert "Bob" Beasley until his death in 2001. Bob was a member of the Gideons International, a ministry that distributes Bibles around the world, and Estelle was a member of the Gideon Ladies' Auxillary. Mrs. Beasley was privileged to have traveled to 48 states, Mexico and Canada.

Survivors include four children, Brenda Trott Long and husband Frank, of Maysville, Rev. Tony Trott and wife Linda, of Johnson City, TN, Phyllis Trott Gray, and husband Mike, of Swansboro, Pamela Trott Morton, and husband Emmett, of Swansboro, one brother, Morris Brown of Swansboro, stepdaughter, Mary Ann Beasley Theims and Husband Dennis, of GA., eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and twelve step great grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and a caring, loving mother. Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed...She was a charter member of Freedom Way Free Will Baptist Church in Hubert. For 30 plus years she served in the church's prison ministry in Newport. She loved her LORD, Jesus Christ and now resides in His presence.
