Nancy Lee Mae Porter Daines, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, born September 12, 1941 in Long Beach, California, died October 9, 2013 in Saratoga Springs, Utah.
Her education included graduation from Highland High, attendance to Weber State College, Brigham Young University, and Church Genealogy programs. Nancy was a certified genealogist and it was something she loved to do.
She married her husband and the love of her life, Sheridan Daines, on September 16, 1970. They had a wonderful forty-three-year marriage. Besides Sheridan, she is survived by her brother, Russell Leon Porter; children, Sherri Lyn and Richard Bosworth (Brian, Maegan, and Justin), Amy and Steve Wallace (Alexia, Samantha, Jessica, Gordon, Miranda, Daines, and Cecelia), Chad (Brittany, Daniel, and Anna), Todd and Andrea (Eddie and Cooper), Melissa (Cassandra, Ashley, and Trevor), and Jeremy and Shawna (Clarissa and Jeremy); and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy, and great-granddaughter, Danielle.
A viewing will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Premier Funeral Services, 1160 North 1200 West, Orem, Utah, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in the Franklin, Idaho Cemetery.
