LUCILLE M. MITCHELL
Lucille M. Mitchell, age 86 of Fiatt, Illinois passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 8, 2006 at the Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was the daughter of Charles and Elda Baugher Stutsman, born February 14, 1919 in Knox County, Missouri.
Lucille Stutsman united in marriage to Elbert L. Mitchell on June 8, 1935 in Novelty, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1979.
Surviving are two sons, Jim Mitchell and his wife, Pat of Cuba, Illinois and Michael Mitchell and his wife, Linda also of Cuba, Illinois; two daughters, Elda Churchill and her husband, Don of Tamaroa, Illinois and Linda Sidwell and her husband, Jerry of St Joseph, Illinois two brothers, Robert Stutsman and his wife, Madeline at Phoenix, Arizona and Lawrence Stutsman of LaBelle, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, twenty -six great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents, a son, Vernon Mitchell, a daughter, Lucinda Sue Mitchell, four brothers, and one sister preceded in death.
She was a devoted homemaker to her family.
Mrs. Mitchell was of the Christian faith.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2006 at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. Officiating the services will be Reverend Doug Mahsman. Musical selections were "Where The Roses Never Fade," "Precious Memories" and "One Day At A Time."
Burial was in the Linville Cemetery at Edina, Missouri. Pallbearers were Jeff Mitchell, Jay Waughtel, Kenny Stutsman, Jerry Churchill, David Stutsman and Adam Lewis.
