News reached Austin Saturday morning of the sudden death of Clifford Wilder at the hospital in Beloit, Wis., Clifford and his bride, Hazel Murphy Wilder whom he had married less than two weeks previous were on their wedding trip visiting in Wisconsin.

Deceased was born in Worth County, Iowa, September 24, 1893. He came here with his parents in 1912. He has worked for nearly a year for the Wells, Fargo Express company. A year ago he worked for Charles Pitcher while the latter was unable to care for his work. Clifford was a genial fellow and willing to lend a hand to his workmates and friends.

On February 2 he married Miss Hazel Murphy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Murphy of Lyle. The happy young couple left for a wedding trip when Mr. Wilder was taken sick with bright's disease resulting in blood poisoning. He leaves beside his young wife, father, mother, a brother Jay who is in business in Brigham, Utah, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Smith on the home farm and Mildred at home. The sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.

The funeral service was held from the parents' residence 810 W. Oakland on Tuesday morning Feb. 15th at 10 o'clock conducted by Rev. W. L. Riley. Interment in the Woodbury cemetery near the old home.
