J. Roy Harvey, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Harvey, residing at No. 138 North Eighth Street, Columbia, died Thursday afternoon at 12:35 o'clock at his home in New Freedom, York County. Death was due to pneumonia, following a severe illness from influenza. Mr. Harvey was in his thirtieth year and was engaged in the cement contracting business at New Freedom. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Joseph and James, his parents and one sister, Miss May, at home. The body will be brought to Columbia for burial and services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Cookman M. E. Church.
