She was the daughter of Walter Clark and Bertha (Johnson) Knorpp.
Lois was a 1933 graduate of Pleasant Hill High School.
On July 19, 1936 she was united in marriage with Claud "Glenn" Grantham in Pleasant Hill, MO. and to this union one son, William "Bill" Grantham was born.
Lois was a loving wife and mother who put her family's needs above her own. She was an avid gardener and shared the fruits of her garden with many. Lois was very accomplished in the are of "home canning" and made wonderful homemade preserves, an art which passed on to her daughter-in-law, Donna.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Claud "Glenn" Grantham;her parents, Walter Clark and Bertha Knorpp; one brother,Chester and four sisters, Alice, Bessie, Ozelle and Harriette.
She is survived by one son , William "Bill" Grantham and wife Donna of Pleasant Hill, MO; four special nieces, Linda, Eleanor, Alice Jean and Camielia; one great niece Vaea; other relatives and many, many friends.
Cremation has been accorded.
A graveside service and inurnment will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Brother Mike Greer officiating.
