Alberta Margaret Schwaller, 86, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Oak Tree Villas. She was born on September 9, 1920, in Wardsville, Mo., the daughter of Samuel Frederick and Matilda Johanna Bosch Schwaller.

Ms. Schwaller worked for International Shoe Company for 29 years and for Milo Walz for 26 years as a seamstress. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she helped served funeral luncheons, and a member of St. Ann Sodality and Sacred Heart League.

Survivors include, one brother, Roman Schwaller, Marshall, Mo.; four nieces, Ellen Goebel, Laura Schwaller, and Amy Whitney, all of Kansas City, Mo., and Mary Teeter, Waunakee, Wis.; five nephews, Bert Schwaller and Paul Schwaller, both of Kansas City, Mo., Greg Gerling, Covington, Ga., and James Gerling and Richard Gerling, both of Jefferson City; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lucille Gerling; and one brother, Norbert Schwaller.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Benjamin Nwosu officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, July 8, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Samaritan Center, 1310 E.
