Richard T. Early, 81, of 414 E. Chestnut Street, Cleona, died December 28, 2002, in Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. Born in Lebanon, on October 11, 1921, to the late Charles D. and Edna S. Wagner Early, he was the husband of Dr. Catherine H. Hand Early. He was a Plant Manager and Vice President of Lebanon Valley Offset, Annville, retiring in 1982, after 32 years of service. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of World War II; a 1939 graduate of Lebanon High School; member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, Lebanon; Annville American Legion Home Association; Charter member of the Central Pennsylvania Printing House Craftsmen; Charter member of the Susquehanna Litho Club; President of the Lebanon Rod and Gun Club; Lebanon Navy Club; Lebanon Elks and the Lebanon Country Club. In addition to his wife, are two nephews, Richard L. Shultz of Jonestown and Thomas R. Gahres of Robesonia; 2 grand nephews and 1 grand niece. He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine M. Shultz. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 11 a.m., from Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Friends may call on Tuesday, from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, 1100 Hunter's Chase Lane, Lebanon, PA .
