Wilby Arthal Morrell, age 65, of Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2005 at her residence.
She was the born in Sullivan County, TN a daughter to the late Maynard George and Ida Elizabeth Love Quales.
She spent most of her life in the Bristol area. "Artie" was a talented local author and among her works were a Family Recipe Cookbook and various poems. She was a member of Belle Meadows Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy G. Morrell.
Artie is survived by her children – Richard A. Morrell, Jackie Morrell, Angela Statzer, and Hope Morrison.
Grandchildren – Wesley Morrell, Sean Statzer, Brittany Morrell, Kyle Pierce, Zach Pierce, Chase Statzer, Malik Morrison, Dominique Morrison, Anthony Morrison.
Siblings – Maxie Morrell, Shelby Robinette, Margaret Walsh, Herbert Quales, and Ronnie Quales

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 7 pm in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewey Williams, Rev. Sam Haynes, and Rev. Jimmy Epperson officiating.
Committal services will be held on Thursday at 10 am at Shipley Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers include: Kevin Statzer, Dwayne Morrison, Tommy Morrell, Jimmy Trivett, and all her nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:30- 6:45 pm prior to the service.
