Old Twins - Henry Fonda and Douw Fonda are the oldest natives of the town of Fonda and they are also the oldest pair of twins in the entire country. July 21 they will enter their seventy-ninth year. They are farmers and live on the land inherited from their ancestors, who settled there five generations ago. This inheritance formerly included the entire site of the village of Fonda, which their father sold to the company that located the place. Troy Weekly Times 1888-05-31.
