ELLIOTT M. SEE, 81, of 4516 Normandy, father of the late U.S. astronaut Elliott M. See, Jr., died here Sunday.
See, a native of Jefferson City, Mo., came to Dallas in 1925. He retired in 1941 as assistant district engineer for General Electric. See was a member of the Third Church, Christ Scientist.
Survivors: Wife; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon Liewellyn of Dallas; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elliott See, Jr. of Houston; a brother, Frank M. See of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Mitchell White of Mexico, Mo., and Mrs. Minor E. Botts, of Evanston, Ill., and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in Restland Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow.
