Obituary published in the "San Antonio Light" on June 24, 1913. - "Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Lowe passed away at her residence, 217 West Craig Place, after a brief illness, at 2 o'clock this morning. She is survived by her husband, Judge T. J. Lowe, two sons and their wives, Dr. and Mrs. John Lawson Felder of this city, and Mr. and Mrs. Camp Felder of Rice, Texas, and by Miss Elizabeth Camp, a niece whom she reared; also by two granchildren, John Lawson Felder Jr., and Mary Louise Felder. She was a sister of W.R. and J.L. Camp of this city. Mrs. Lowe was born in Gilmer, Upshur county, Texas, fifty-two years ago. Her father, Judge J.L. Camp, was a prominent lawyer and jurist of Eastern Texas, and her mother, Mary Ward Camp, was also from a family of high social standing in that section of Texas. The life of Mrs. Lowe was marked by her strong devotion to duty and she was recognized wherever she lived as a woman of strong individuality and courage, enjoying a large circle of friends. The body will be removed this evening by her brothers and sons to Leesburg, Texas, for interment in the family burial grounds. Funeral services will be held at the family residence, 217 West Craig Place at 7 o'clock this evening. The following are the pallbearers: W.C. Lott, L.W. Kokernot, P.J. McNeal, P.J. Lewis, L.J. Hart, F.C. Davis, Dr. J.S. Lankford and Dr. E.V. Depew."
