Mrs. Anna Barton, 95, died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at Mercy Hospital. She made her home with a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edith Delaney.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at Egelhof Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Nativity. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Barton was born in Springfield, Ill., daughter of John and Anna Brown, and had lived here most of her life. Surviving are 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

After Annie's husband, John Delaney, died in 1930, she married Edward A Barton. She was again widowed on March 22, 1933 and by the 1940 census living with her son, Lester Delaney in Dubuque, Iowa

Annie and John had three sons, two, John and Harry are linked to her memorial, the third son, Lester L Delaney is Find A Grave Memorial# 11454496.
