MATILDA JAGODZINSKI
(1861 - 1943)

Mrs. George Jagodzinski, 82, a resident of the city for more than 70 years, died this morning at the home, 1118 South 19th street, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the St. Mary’s Catholic church, the Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jagodzinski, nee Matilda Mrotek, was born in Poland in 1860, and came to this city when a girl of 10 years of age. Fifty-six years ago she was married to Mr. Jagodinski.

Survivors are the widower; two sons, Alex, of this city, Private Leo Jagodinski, stationed in Oklahoma; seven daughters, Mrs. John Musial, Mrs. Walter Bonk, Mrs. Michael Lipski, of this city, Mrs. Stanley Graczyk, Milwaukee, Miss Frances Jagodinski, California, Mrs. Joseph Tomchek, Milwaukee, Sister M. Domitia, Beaver Dam; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The body will be moved to the Jagodinski home Thursday morning from the Leschke funeral home and may be viewed there until Saturday morning.
