THE DEATH OF MARGARET B. McCABE
Romney - Feb 4 - Mrs. Margaret B. (Craig) McCabe, 77, of Romney, died unexpectedly at 10 a.m. Sunday at the home of Mrs. Don Forrest, Munster, a daughter in whose home she had been visiting for five months. Born near South Raub, she spent most of her life here, In 1895, she was married to John William McCabe who was a barber here for many years. He died April 4, 1946. She was employed as a clerk at the local post office for many years, retiring three years ago. She was a member of the Methodist church here and the local home economics club. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Walter Waddell and Mrs. Joe Harrison, of Lafayette, and Mrs. Forrest, and one sister, Mrs. Alice Largent, Marshalltown, Iowa.
